Navigation: moorland to mountain

Tailor-made days at local venues in the North York Moors or further afield. These day courses will build confidence to navigate, both on and off the path network. Typically we will focus on:

• interpreting contours
• developing pacing and timing skills
• using the compass for orientation and for taking bearings

The content of these days is flexible and we can meet the needs of recreational climbers, walkers and mountaineers, as well as those preparing for ML training and assessment. Ideal for people working towards Hill and Moorland Leader award and ML qualifications.
